Food was amazing I recommend trying the skyline chili pizza. The food came out so fresh. The servicer was a she was so nice and came back every 3-5 minutes to see if we needed anything.
Last night my boyfriend and I decided super late that we wanted to order Mellow, so we placed at order at like 8:15 hoping it would be accepted as we knew they closed at 9! We honestly contemplated not placing it because it was in fact so close to closing but did anyways. Order was supposed to be done at 8:45, walked in and kitchen had lost my ticket- right then I was like this is my karma for ordering so late and assumed they would cancel my order and just give my money back- NOPE! This amazing kitchen and staff still made my dinner AND gave us a refund! We were in SHOCK. Shout out to Wilder Mellow Mushroom your staff is amazing and we will be back!! (Our pizza as delicious as well as our spinach dip!! Thank you!!!)
After stopping at Patient Aids next door with my grandparents we were looking for something for lunch. My grandpa was feeling a bit light headed and needed to sit down and have a bit of juice to help with blood sugar levels, and probably just needed lunch for the day as it was 1pm already. Mellow Mushroom was literally next door and had great reviews on Yelp as well as a variety of menu options for them to choose from. As we walked in we were greeted and shown to a booth right away. Our server was super friendly and brought us waters and my grandpa ordered a cranberry juice. We poured over the menu and pick two lunch special was perfect for our group. It's $9.99 and includes two items of your choice plus a fountain drink. The options were great as well and include a one topping slic, garlic cheese bread, half hoagie (with chips) , Lil House Salad, Lil Caesar Salad or Half order Pretzel. We opted for two of these lunch combos each with a Half Italian Hoagie, one Greek Salad and one with the Lil House Salad. My grandparents don't eat too much, so the salad was more than enough for my grandma and she was so pleased. My grandpa was able to enjoy as much of the Italian Hoagie and Greek salad as he liked and I had the other Italian Hoagie. We still ended up going home with leftovers. The portions were very generous for a lunch special and the Hoagie was loaded with meat, cheese and veggies. My grandparents kept talking about how nice the restaurant was all the way home. Our server was wonderful and attentive as well as patient as we asked questions and figured out what would work best for everyone. We would 100% come back again.
We sat in the bar with our service provided by an amazing female server. I can't even begin to share how excellent her performance was for our small group of three. Even the guys commented on how good she was. Love this place with vegan options such as the vegetable hoagie which is delicious. I got a half sandwich and wish I had ordered the whole. Got a vegetable pizza for my plus one at home. He said it was delicious and ate every bite.
Simple great vegan options. Always loved the GF crust with vegan cheese pizza. A great option pizza place for vegans!
Our family is vegan and I'm celiac. The waitstaff was AMAZING with working with us. I truly wish other restaurants were like this, they should all take note. That being said, my pizza was the best pizza I've had in a VERY long time, even before being diagnosed celiac. My kiddos and husband absolutely loved their pizzas too. This was our first time ever eating at Mellow Mushroom and I can definitely say we will be back to this location.
